Job Purpose
The role entails scaling up the business & distribution of Gold_Loan lending for a designated area by delivering banking needs to customers in the most cost_efficient and technology_effective manner. The incumbent will collaborate closely with Retail, Product, Operations, Retail_Liability, IT and other teams to provide a seamless, fulfilling customer experience and ensure IDFC First becomes the primary bank for all banking needs.
Roles & Responsibilities
- Identify branches and potential locations for Gold_Loan business based on market surveys, competition mapping (NBFCs & banks) and volume analysis.
- Increase distribution channels by identifying non_branch avenues for Gold_Loan sales.
- Achieve a minimum Gold_Loan productivity of _40 lacs per month on new business and ensure 80 % re_generation on eligible customers.
- Recruit dedicated manpower for Gold_Loan (Gold_Loan Officers/Territory Managers) to drive customer acquisition.
- Grow the AUM base for Gold_Loan solutions while meeting revenue, cost, profitability and portfolio_quality targets.
- Collaborate with the Business_Loan Product Head to offer best_in_class funding/multifunding solutions and appropriately incentivise key DSTs.
- Ensure timely renewals of Gold_Loan customers to retain the existing client base.
- Maintain strong relationships with valuers and valuation agencies.
- Train Gold_Loan officers on potential fraud and fraud prevention measures.
- Design a fulfilling customer journey that leads to customer delight and positions IDFC First as the banking partner of choice.
- Ensure successful adoption of internal compliance and regulatory frameworks across the business.
- Recommend process changes to improve service efficiency and quality across the assigned area.
- Propose improvements to processes and policies across Retail Banking to drive operational efficiencies and high_quality customer service.
- Leverage in_house synergies through collaboration with internal stakeholders.
- Attract and retain best_in_class talent for key roles in the reporting structure.
- Build and motivate the team while maintaining controlled attrition.
